Rebel's Desire (Iron Portal #4)Rebel's Desire by Laurie London
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*Gift provided for honest review*

Laurie is amazing, I cant praise her work enough, her characters get better and better as the series moves on.
Rebel's desire is book 4 in the series but it can be read as a standalone, but I wouldn't. I enjoy following the characters in the series and feel that you get a better appreciation for the guild when you read them in order.
Once again this is a shortish read but it doesn't take away the action and plot line.
Laurie's characters are strong and her wording leaves you holding onto your breath to see what is going to happen next, this story is hot, steamy and full of action. The character arent going to be the usual weak and meek.
This is a must read for any paranormal fan.

I love all of Erin's work and I follow all of her series, this one for me will be the icing on the cake, I love her writing and I love shifter novels.
This is a fast smooth read, and doesn't lack on the story line for one minute, I read this as a wind down before bed but found myself staying up into the very hours of the morning just to find out how it ends. There is no cliffhanger in the novel, but Erin winds you into a story of fantasy and desire that you crave more at the end.
I love the information that got leaked into the novel, its hard to write the first book in the series and be able to give you that information bomb without it blowing up too much and leaving the reader going Wow that was just too much. Erin's characters once again aren't perfect this I love.
Can't wait for book 2

Nightwalker - Jacquelyn Frank

Nightwalker (The World of Nightwalkers, #5)Nightwalker by Jacquelyn Frank
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

While I love the Nightwalker series, this one didn't seem to come up to par as much as the others. I was a little disappointed with the beginning, it felt all over the place. Some bits were so over written going into way to much detail for my liking, I could have flipped over 10 pages and still able to catch up with the book.
Where other bits that i thought should have had it lacked greatly.
I do enjoy Jacquelyn and her writing so I was disappointed with this novel.
It took me a little longer to read this, as I had to keep stopping and starting. Hoping that the plot would pick up.
This wont stop me from picking up her next book.

Spending the last few years near the Queensland coast, Becca is rarely out of the sea or off the beach. Dragging her long board with her and her overworked Kindle Fire, Becca enjoys her three addictions: reading, surfing and ogling surfers, one of whom is her husband of ten years.

She can still be found regularly on the beach with her family. Becca tends to leave the surfing to her boys; she's far too busy immersed in her own writing or, of course, with her head still buried in a new read.

Just when I thought the iron portal series couldn't get any better Laurie brings in hot, demanding, strong characters.
I absolutely love this series and crave to read more. The story really is an easy follow that you could read without the first 2 books, but its much better when you know the other characters and what they have done and been through.
I loved the strong will and character of Zara. She made the book. The characters are far from perfect and that's great....
Cant wait to read book 4 ..... I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves to read a hot, steamy, paranormal novel...
